The Quest for the Golden Sock

Some of you know that I've been working on a sock since the 7th of September. It's made with yellow yarn I dyed myself using KoolAid and food coloring...



I am soooo close to being done (on the last toe)....So why then, am I on here, writing a blog instead of finishing the sock?

Here it is shown just after turning the heel--with the stitch marker my husband made for me peeking out!



Stalling technique! The minute it's done, I want to photograph it and my flash is acting up on my digital camera, and besides, I want to use natural light. So I'll finish those last 10 rows tomorrow!
